KULIASOVA Nina Aleksandrovna
Member of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation

Born on October 22, 1959, in the village of Usyskino, the Insar District of the Mordovian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic.
In 1982, she graduated from the law department of the Mordovian State University.
In 1982–1992, she worked as a chief legal counsel and head of the protocol office of the Administration of the Affairs of the Council of Ministers of the Mordovian ASSR.
In 1992–1993, she was adviser at the social policies department of the Office of the President of the Mordovian Soviet Socialist Republic and at the Administration of the Affairs of the Council of Ministers/ Government of the Mordovian SSR.
In 1993–1994, she was department head at the Constitutional Court of the Mordovian SSR.
In 1994–1996, she was adviser at the social policies department of the Office of the Council of Ministers/ Government of the Republic of Mordovia.
In 1996–1999, she was Secretary of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Mordovia.
On February 18, 1999, she was appointed Member of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation by the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
On November 12, 2002, she was elected Secretary of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation.
On February 26, 2003, she was appointed Member of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation by the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
On February 21, 2007, she was reappointed Member of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation by the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
At the CEC of Russia she is responsible for such areas of its activity as: interaction with groups of voters, initiative groups for holding a referendum of the Russian Federation, and initiative campaign groups; supervision of organization of state system for registration of voters, referendum participants and of formation and maintenance of the register of voters, referendum participants; enforcement of the electoral rights and the right to participate in a referendum of citizens of the Russian Federation during the preparation and conduct of elections to bodies of state power of the Russian Federation subjects, elections to bodies of local self-government, referenda of the Russian Federation subjects, and local referenda; enforcement of the rights of citizens of the Russian Federation to participate in voting to recall officials elected directly by citizens; control over the compliance with the procedure for formation of election commissions and referendum commissions set forth by the Federal Law; and processing of complaints against decisions and actions (failures to act) of election commissions of subjects of the Russian Federation and their officials.
She has the title of Honored Lawyer of the Russian Federation.
She was awarded with 2-d Class medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, the Certificate of Merit from the Council of Federation, and the Certificate of Merit from the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation.
She was awarded with a Letter of Appreciation from the President of the Russian Federation for active participation in the preparation and conduct of a referendum in the Chechen Republic.
