Lavrov, Oleg Leonidovich

Member of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation

Born on April 27, 1965.

He graduated from the Military Engineering Institute in St.Petersburg (1987) and Military Academy in Moscow (1996). In 1982 – 2000 he was оn active military duty holding different commanding, staff and engineers’ positions as a senior military officer. Colonel (Ret.). Не got further education at the Moscow State University named after M. Lomonosov.

After retirement from military service he was directly engaged in politics and worked at headquarters of the Russian Liberal-Democratic Party in the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation as a supervisor of the party’s faction office in the State Duma.

In 2001 – 2000 he was a Chairman of the Central Verification and Auditing Committee of the Russian Liberal-Democratic Party. In 2009 he joined into the Higher Council of the Russian Liberal-Democratic Party.

He is married and has a daughter.
